Aardman’s first interactive VR project, We Wait is a collaboration with BBC Connected Studios, transporting you to a beach in Turkey as you travel across the sea alongside a Syrian family, sharing their hopes and fears.

Using the latest immersive technologies to work on the piece the brief called for going beyond being in the heart of the action, beyond controlling it. Aardman saw a great opportunity to work in the emerging format of high-end, interactive virtual reality.
