The Female Lens 2026 Draws Full House as Lemonade Presents Continues to Redefine Industry Events

London, UK - March 2026

Lemonade Presents’ The Female Lens 2026 took over All Is Joy Studios last week, drawing a full and engaged audience for an evening of candid conversation exploring how women navigate creative careers across film, advertising, and beyond.

With a line-up featuring directors Lucrecia (Prettybird), Priya Ahluwalia (Caviar) and Phoebe Arnstein (Magna Studios), the event created space for an honest discussion around building sustainable careers, from early opportunities to long-term creative authorship and the often unseen work that underpins both.

Hosted by the formidable Tina Mwazange (BBH), the conversation struck a balance between sharp insight and warmth, setting the tone for an event that continues to grow in both scale and impact.

The evening marks a significant moment in the evolution of Lemonade Presents, which is increasingly establishing itself as a key fixture in the industry calendar, bringing together emerging and established voices in an environment that prioritises openness, accessibility, and creative exchange.

In a review published the following day, Jason Stone (David Reviews) praised both the event and its atmosphere:

“Lemonade have become extraordinarily adept at curating a superb line-up… There is a buzz about the place and a welcoming vibe that feels distinctly old school, but nonetheless attracts a lot of the younger folk from the industry who are often absent from events like this.”

“Get along to the next Lemonade Presents… I cannot recommend it more.”

Beyond the stage, attendees described the evening as “inspiring” and “a reminder of the creative possibilities of our industry,” reflecting the event’s impact. Guests were greeted on arrival with cocktails by MOTH, setting the tone for an evening that felt as thoughtfully social as it was creatively inspiring.

The event also featured a curated exhibition of artwork from female creatives working across the industry, highlighting practices that exist alongside - and often in tension with - full-time roles in advertising. Featuring Valentina Schwendinger’s Hormonella, Tina Mwazange’s Amateur, Compression, Heat Index and Inside Weather, Chloe Neal’s Endobroidery, Ciara Holmes’ A Brave New World, Katie Millington’s Let Her Hang Poetry Project, and Emma Askew’s Cathexis, the showcase captured the reality of the “9–5 and beyond” creative life - where artistic identity is nurtured alongside commercial work, and some of the most personal output emerges outside the structures of the industry.

The conversation continued into the evening with a lively afterparty, where guests connected over beer from Queer Brewing, cocktails by MOTH, and a DJ set from DJ Kitty Sharp at Felt Music. The afterparty reflected the spirit of The Female Lens - not just a platform for discussion, but a space for community, connection, and dancing.

Adding a playful and subversive edge, the These Tits Are Mine activation invited guests to step into a photo booth and take a tit pic, which was then printed onto a T-shirt. The bold, tongue-in-cheek experience encouraged attendees to literally wear their bodies with pride, reclaiming ownership and celebrating empowerment. It quickly became a standout moment of the night, with people queuing to take part, reinforcing Lemonade’s commitment to creating experiences that extend beyond conversation and into participation.

Gaby Grant, Creative at adam&eveDDB and Founder of These Tits Are Mine, says:
“This was the first time I’ve brought These Tits Are Mine into the world beyond an idea, and I honestly don’t think it would have happened without Lemonade. They pushed me towards a deadline, backed the idea and helped me turn something that started as a side project into a fully realised activation. It also felt like the ideal, safe space to launch something so personal for the first time. There was a lot of love in the room, and I’m incredibly grateful for that support.”

Once again, Lemonade extends a heartfelt thank you to its sponsors and partners - Caviar, Prettybird, Magna Studios, Felt Music, WPA, Work Editorial, Abroad Films, International Women’s Day, and All Is Joy Studios - whose generosity and commitment made the evening possible. Delivering an event at this level requires belief and collaboration, and their support is fundamental to building a platform where these conversations can happen and continue to evolve.

Corin West, Managing Director of Lemonade, says:

“What’s been most rewarding is hearing people leave feeling inspired and reminded of what’s actually possible in this industry. That’s exactly what The Female Lens was about this year; creating space for honest conversation, while also giving people a moment to reconnect with why they started in the first place. None of this would happen without the partners and community who continue to show up and support it.”

More than a one-off event, The Female Lens sits within Lemonade’s wider ambition to create a cultural platform bridging the gap between art and industry, offering a space where conversations around creativity, commerce, and authorship can happen openly and collectively.

Looking ahead, Lemonade Presents will return on 28 May 2026 with Brands Entertain Me, an event exploring the growing role of brands in entertainment and original IP. The event will examine how branded storytelling is evolving and how the industry can move beyond traditional advertising into culturally resonant, audience-first work.
